A recipe for something truly delicious...

Take some guests, starting with fresh wee young ones...

"Um, Auntie Tamara?," asks nephew Cole shyly...
"I picked my tie out all by myself!"

Girly sweet niece Sydney, after being told we have a present for her!
A very big grin, after being presented with her very own bouquet.

Still admiring her poesie...

Add some Moms and Dads, a sister and a brother-in-law as Matron and Man of Honour, and a Best Man/best friend for good measure...
Konrad's Mom, Krystyna, watching the bride prepare. She's always ready faster than anyone - the woman is the model of preparation and perfection!
Konrad's Dad, Andrew, getting dressed
Tamara's Mom, Gail, overseeing the activity in the bride's prep room
Tamara's Dad, Peter, watching the fun and waiting for the bride so he can fulfill his role and walk her down the aisle. "Give her away"? Nope! Share her!
Best man and best friend of Konrad, Kalle, with the ever-present devilish grin. We missed his wife Lesel and daughter Cymbre!

Tamara's brother-in-law, Rick, secretly taping the festivities.
A big Mr. Van Papeveld, and a smaller Master Van Papeveld. Like father, like son!
Miss Sydney Van Papeveld and Mrs. Tanya Van Papeveld (Tamara's sister). Two pretty girls!

...mix them together in a great space.

Add exquisitely beautiful flowers...

and equal parts bride...

and groom.

Gather the crowd, to sit at room temperature and wait patiently (or not) for all the ingredients to be brought together.

Combine gently.

Let settle.

Douse liberally with champagne...

Season with words of love, honour, and gentle teasing too...
Toss in some slides in a nice show...

And enjoy with wine!

If this recipe is made with the proper preparation, and care and attention given to it on a daily basis, there should be enough to enjoy for a lifetime.

Our love and gratitude to everyone who was there for this special weekend, and to everyone who has sent their love and best wishes. We will be having a barbecue in Edmonton in the late summer to celebrate our marriage, so stay tuned for invitations!
